Solar Auxilia Pt6

So I have to say, I have built almost all the kits that Forgeworld makes, but the new Dracosian Transport is one where we see the future. FW in the past has made models with incredible art and detail, sadly lots of those parts are never seen whent he model is finished. They also have made the detail so good that it weakens the models sturcture but in this new transport model they made it purely for a gamer. Which is good and bad, it comes with very few pieces, including the track already glued on which is new to their Malcador chassis models.

Also I have been asked how I do the Solar Auxilia paint scheme or if I would do a tutorial. I may put together a video but int he meantime here you guys go.

1. AIRBRUSH DAWNSTONE

2. HIGHLIGHT ADMINISTRATUM GREY

3. TOP HIGHLIGHT WITH ULTHUAN GREY

4. CHIPS MARKS USING CHARADEN GRANITE

5. STIPPLED WITH RANDOM PATCHS OF AGRAX EARTHSHADE HEAVILY THINNED WITH LAHMIAN

MEDIUM

6. WASH WITH RAW UMBA OIL WASH

7. BLUE STRIPES AS FOLLOWS –

8. BASECOAT MACRAGGE BLUE

9. BLEND IN KANTOR BLUE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE ARMOUR PLATES

10. BLEND UPWARDS WITH RUSS GREY

11. BLEND IN FENRIS GREY TO THE TOP OF THE ARMOUR PLATES

12. WASH WHOLE PLATE WITH DRAKENHOF NIGHTSHADE

13. LINE HIGHLIGHT WITH FENRIS GREY

14. WASH WITH CARRABOURG CRIMSON

15. CHIP BACK USING TANK BASE COLOURS
